Company Description:
As a Lead Electrician, you will be responsible for the overall completion of Rough, Trim, and Hot check jobs assigned. You will manage 1 or more helpers on the jobsite, providing training and guidance while developing the helper into an Apprentice/Lead Electrician. You will understand troubleshooting principles, have experience installing electrical equipment and gear, devices, and fixtures, and stay up to date on current codes and local requirements.
Role Description:
- Adhere to industry standards and safety practices.
- Plan, lay out, and install electrical Conduit, wiring, equipment, and devices based on job specifications and national/local codes.
- Ensure the job is ready and passes county/AHJ required Inspections.
- Read and Understand Blueprints,
- Test and troubleshoot according to blueprints, manufacturer information, and installation practices.
- Able to problem-solve and/or articulate potential problems on the jobsite needing manager intervention.
- Always have a neat and clean appearance to represent the company on service callouts.
- Perform physically demanding tasks that include lifting, bending over, climbing ladders/scaffolding, digging trenches, and installing conduit.
Qualifications:
- Electrical Experience: 5 years
- Commercial Experience: 4 Years
- Residential Experience: 3 years
- Valid Driver’s License
- US work Authorization
- High School or Equivalent (preferred)
- OSHA 10 (preferred)
